You get nothing for free these days, right? Well not quite, as Caddick Davies have for years been providing varying degrees of free legal advice for years. We understand that not everyone can afford to pay for their legal advice and there are occasions where you just need someone to point you in the right direction without racking up a large legal bill.  Now we’d still like you to benefit from our free legal advice but we’d also like a select number of charities to feel the benefit too. So what are we asking? It’s all about asking you (if you are able to) to make a CHARITABLE DONATION in return for the FREE MOTORING LEGAL ADVICE you receive. So how does it work? You get free motoring legal advice from us You choose a charity from the list below  You make a donation directly to the charity List of Charities to Make a Donation to Again, these are just a few charities, if you have another you’d like to see on here or donate to then get them to send us an email and we can get them added.   Together for Short Lives are a charity for seriously ill-children, who provide crucial support for the children and their families. You can donate here.   Breast Cancer Now provide continued support to those diagnosed with breast cancer and they also work on the development of treatments for breast cancer. You can donate here.   Questions about the Free Advice Offer Do I have to donate? There is no obligation to donate. If you receive free advice from us, are happy with the advice received, and feel you are able to make a donation, just choose one of the charities from the listing below and proceed to their donation page. How much should I donate? The amount you donate for the free motoring legal advice received is up to you. There is no set amount and we only want you to donate what you can reasonably afford to donate, whether that is a few pounds or something more substantial. Who does the money I donate money go? We don’t get involved in handling your donation. You make your donation direct to your chosen charity directly through their donation link (whether that is via Paypal, Justgiving, Virgin Money giving or some other platform) and they can choose to use that as they wish. How do I know this is genuine? All the charities we include on our fundraising page are genuine charities with a registered charity number. We only include charities in our listing that can be found on the Charity Commission service so you can be sure they are a legitimate charity. Don’t see the charity you want to donate to? We’d love it if you support some of the charities we have invited to be involved in this initiative, but if there is a charity that is close to your heart then let them know about this and get them to contact us, and we’ll then do our best to get them involved. Are you a charity and want to be involved? If you want to be included in our charity listing and be in with a chance of benefiting from the donations made by people who receive free advice from us, then get in touch with us and we’ll get you added as long as you are a registered charity.
